For an integrated and sustainable as well as modular solution approach in the urban area, different signaling scenarios and their effects are being tested in real operation within the framework of an urban living lab. The main focus of the planned solutions is the bundling of traffic flows with optimized route selection, the coordination and process optimization regarding emergency vehicles and the evaluation of pedestrian crossing requirements, as well as the balancing of the interests of private and public transport.
